Jesus was always helping others, he believed no one should take advantage of others and that the world needed more love. He was practically raised by his grandmother in Colombia - who he tenderly referred to as his huesitos - his bones. When he was 12, he joined his mother in the United States. He didn’t know any English then and challenged himself to not watch any Spanish television. In 6 months he was speaking English. He loved to read and would finish large books in a week.

 

Jesus wanted to be a maxillofacial surgeon - to reconstruct fractures or deformities in the face, he was very interested in that. 

 

He was just 24 years old.
